{"id":240,"date":"2025-07-23T12:06:20","date_gmt":"2025-07-23T12:06:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ardentpest.com.sg\/shop\/?post_type=product&#038;p=240"},"modified":"2025-09-30T08:01:06","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T08:01:06","slug":"in2care-mosquito-station","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/ardentpest.com.sg\/shop\/product\/in2care-mosquito-station\/","title":{"rendered":"In2Care Mosquito Station"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div><\/div>\n<p>The In2Care mosquito station (sometimes called a trap, but more accurately a dissemination station) is a \u201csmart\u201d vector-control device designed to reduce mosquito populations\u2014especially Aedes species (e.g. Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus)\u2014by exploiting mosquitoes\u2019 own egg-laying behaviour to spread larvicides to breeding sites. <\/p>\n<p>Rather than trapping (i.e. physically capturing and killing) many mosquitoes, the In2Care design contaminates female mosquitoes with agents which (1) kill or inhibit larvae, and (2) eventually kill or debilitate the adults\u2014but not so quickly that they can\u2019t spread the larvicide to additional breeding containers.
